NOTICE OF REGULAR ELECTION 

MEADOWS METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 2

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly to the eligible electors of the Meadows Metropolitan District No. 2 (the “District”) of the Town of Castle Rock, Douglas County, Colorado.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular election is to be held on Tuesday, the 6th day of May 2025, and that said election shall be conducted by mail ballot.  Accordingly, ballots will be distributed by U.S. Mail not earlier than April 14, 2025, and not later than April 21, 2025, to eligible electors of the District entitled to vote in the election.  The purpose of the election is to submit to the eligible electors of the District referenced above, the election of members of the Board of Directors.

At said election, the eligible electors of the District shall vote for up to five (5) Directors to serve on the Board of Directors of the District.

The names of the persons nominated for Director to serve a four-year term (2025-2029) are:

Eligible electors may apply for new or replacement mail ballots and return voted mail ballots to the office of the Designated Election Official (“DEO”) which is also the ballot drop-off/walk-in voting location: at Spencer Fane LLP, 1700 Lincoln Street, Suite 2000, Denver, Colorado 80203.  The office of the DEO is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from April 14, 2025, through May 5, 2025, and from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 6, 2025 (Election Day). Please contact the office of the DEO at (303) 839-3800 to coordinate walk in voting or drop off of ballots.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS


TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly, to the eligible electors of Meadows Metropolitan District No. 2 ("District") of Douglas County, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the District will conduct a regular election on the 6th day of May, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, (3) three directors will be elected for a 4-year term and (2) two directors will be elected for a 2-year term. 

In order to be a candidate for one of the director positions, a qualified individual must submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form. Eligible electors of the District interested in serving on the Board of Directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District’s Designated Election Official (DEO):

The Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form must be returned to the Designated Election Official by close of business (5:00 p.m. MST) on Friday, February 28, 2025.  The form should be emailed to Katie Miller.  If the designated election official determines that a self-nomination and acceptance form is not sufficient, the eligible elector who submitted the form may amend the form at any time prior to the close of business on the day of the deadline.

Affidavit of Intent to Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the Designated Election Official by the close of business on Monday, March 3, 2025.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that an application for an absentee ballot may be filed with the Designated Election Official, at the contact information referenced above, no later than the close of business on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
